& it has nothing to do with scrapbooking. LOL

Erick has just started going into work at 4 am on Wednesdays & getting off at noon. I love having him home in the middle of the day. Today he got a good dose of what I do. He got the pleasure of boxing up my preorders. I had about 7 orders that needed to be boxed up & I thought it would give him a good chance to see what I normally do. LOL These were pretty good sized orders. Not great big, but not really small either. As I type this he is finishing up his last box. He has been cussing this box up one side & down the other. I am hoping that maybe now when I am frazzeled & frustrated at the end of the day he will have a little more understanding as to why I am that way. LOL One could only hope.

So, from now on I am just going to start enjoying the fact that my husband is home in the middle of the day. Maybe I’ll actually get to scrapbook or stamp something every once in a while too.

I seriously think that we skipped Fall & went straight to Winter where I live. I am not kidding when I say that on Friday afternoon in the far most NorthEastern corner of California it snowed like crazy. I actually think I’ve only seen it snow like that 2 or 3 other times since I’ve lived here. It was too warm for any of it to stick, but it was great to see it while it was flying.

I used to have a love/hate type of thing happening when it came to Fall. I hated it because it meant that I had to go back to school & most likely the start of the rainy weather. I loved it because I love the smell of Fall in the air on the way home from school. The smell of all of the wood stoves burning, the crunchy sound of all the leaves I stepped on. It also meant that Halloween was around the corner. I loved seeing all of the little kids all dressed up & going to the pumpkin patch. It meant that Thanksgiving was coming & even more important once we hit that Thanksgiving point it meant that Christmas break was right around the corner. Oh, to think so simple minded as I once did. LOL

I hope that you all are enjoying all that fall has to offer. Remember to take the camera with you everywhere as you never know when that perfect fall moment may hit.

Happy Fall Everybody - Lala

I bet that title got your attention. No, I’m not drooling over man candy. I’m seeing little boy scrapbooking stuff everywhere I turn. I guess that’s because I’m going to be aunt again……

Erick & I will be welcoming our new little nephew Blake Scott into the world sometime in late November. We’re hoping that he bakes in my sisters tummy long enough for us to make it home for Thanksgiving. I can’t tell you how excited we both are for his arrival. Erick is so excited that he gets to go through the whole process this time instead of just becoming an instant uncle like he did with Katelynn & Dakota.

Dakota is so excited to be having a baby brother since he’s already got 3 sisters (Katelynn & then his bio mom has a set of twin girls whos names escape me at the moment) Katelynn is less thrilled. In her words exactly. “I don’t understand why mom can’t keep him in her tummy longer until he turns into a girl” Oh, out of the mouth of a 5 year old. LOL

So, everywhere I look now I seem to be drawn to the baby boy stuff. I have a funny feeling that the store will soon be over run with baby boy stuff. I hope everyone’s having boys this year or at least knows people that are having boys. LOL

If you’ve got any baby boy artwork you’d like to share I’d love to see it all. I will be making the baby shower invitations, the baby announcements, the thank you cards & his scrapbook…..

As you can tell I’m the crafty one in the family. LOL My sister just has no intrest in paper crafting what so ever. Although I did get her to make Christmas cards with me one year.

I hope you all are having a great day.
Happy Scrapping,
Lala

I love this time of year. It’s so nice to be able to be outside, although I’m chained to the computer these days & I only get to dream of being outside. I live in such an awesome area (to which I hate during the winter)

We have so much wildlife everywhere. Last night as we were leaving the house to go take care of the neighbors animals we saw a momma deer with her 2 yearlings, a quail couple & their “12″ babies (They are so tiny & fuzzy) & a yucky snake in the middle of the drive way. On our way home as we stopped to look at my mini alligators in the pond (they’re really frogs, but all you see is their eyes sticking up through the water so they look like mini alligators) My husband realized that we had some vistors bedded down in our field. We had another momma deer & her 2 baby fawns. Their ears looks like mini radar dishes sticking up through the tall grass. It reminds me why I love it here & that I forgot the camera back at the house.

Then I get to come back down to reality & chain myself to the computer again. I’ve still got a ton of stuff to add to the store site (like more inventory & Prima just shipped yesterday) . I finally just figured out how to do the blog thing today. So, watch out for more crazy random thoughts from me in the future.

I hope that everyone takes the time to see what’s around them today & maybe scrapbook a page about it. Even if you don’t take any pictures of it. Make a journal page about all the things around you. Take those 10 minutes to write it all down & 5 or 10 years down the road you’ll love the fact that you took the time to do that. It totally shows where you are at in your life at the time.

Happy Scrapping Everyone,
Lala
